Marlow Food Festival delights

By Janice Raycroft on November 23rd 2011

Hundreds of visitors made this year’s Marlow Food Festival the biggest and best to date. Stalls offering everything from pickles to breads, sweets to cupcakes, and Indian delicacies to barbecue sauces did a roaring trade. For the first time there were also craft stalls selling African garden ornaments, jewellery, handbags and designer cushion covers as well as plants and specialist gifts.

Chef master classes drew big audiences. There were demonstrations by Danesfield House’s Michelin Star chef Adam Simmonds, Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi from the Caldesi Cookery Schools and restaurants, and Sanctum on The Green’s Steve Allen Humphries as well as gluten-free expert Adriana Rabinovich.
