The Hound of The Baskervilles - Friday 21 April

Reading Contemporary Art Fair - Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April

Rivermead Leisure Complex, Richfield Avenue, Reading

Artists and galleries from all over the UK and Europe exhibit at Rivermead Leisure Complex and those attending range from people new to the art world to specialist collectors seeking a particular piece. It’s a chance to discover the art you love and perhaps pick up a piece for a very good price.


The Pasadena Roof Orchestra - Saturday 22 April

South Hill Park, Bracknell

Since 1969 the Pasadena Roof Orchestra has been faithfully re-creating the glories of popular music from the 1920s and 1930s. This fun-packed, humour- filled show, features timeless classics from the great American song book – those wonderful songs that miraculously lifted people’s spirits during the depression era.


Canal Boating - Sunday 23 April

Kennet & Avon at Aldermaston

If you’ve always fancied roaming England’s waterways during a break but are yet to get up courage, find out how easy it is with taster sessions and free trips on a skippered narrowboats on the Kennet & Avon at Aldermaston. This event is run by Drifters Waterway Holidays and the Canal & River Trust. No booking required and it runs from 11am to 4pm at ABC Boat Hire, Aldermaston Wharf, Padworth RG7 4JS.


Open Garden - Sunday 23 April

The Old Rectory, Farnborough, Nr Wantage

At nearly 250m high and despite being prey to winds from the downs, this 4 acre garden has been created over 30 years, based on a good original structure of large trees and hedges with magnificent views.
