Windsor Emporium moves to Guildhall

Windsor's monthly arts and gifts showpiece is now in the prestigious location

Local arts, crafts and antiques fair, the Windsor Emporium has relocated to the Guildhall in Windsor. Building on the success of last years fair, the highly popular emporium moved from the Parish Hall in Frances Road to its new prestigious location in the historic heart of the town and was officially re-opened by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Colin Rayner.

With the backing of prominent local sponsors the fair is a show piece for artistic talent with approximately 30 exhibitors supporting the monthly event which runs from March to December each year on the first Sunday of every month. It also features its own vintage tea room serving home made cakes and other refreshments, by Happy Cakes.

Event organiser Jackie Couzens said: Its an emporium of the unexpected, where you can find local purveyors of art, quality hand made gifts and objects of the extraordinary. The event is likely to be equally popular this year due to the new location and will attract residents as well as tourists.

Jackie added: This is great news for the town as it supports small businesses and great news for those looking for something special, especially with Christmas shortly upon us

The emporium is sponsored by Hamptons Estate Agents, Windsor; Macdonald Windsor Hotel & Caleys Lounge.
